Cast YOUR vote!
The Wera Tools Driver of the Day Award shortlist for Event 5 at Warden Law is now LIVE.
Now is your chance to vote for the driver who impressed YOU the most during the weekend, with the winner receiving the coveted Wera Tools trophy, a Wera BKC winners hat, a Wera BKC winners visor sticker, and a free practice session at the next BKC event.
The nominations have been made up of drivers that impressed the panel throughout the weekend and now you can play your part in deciding the winner.
Nominations are:
Micro – Khloe McGill
A career best weekend where she got faster and faster . From 24th in qualifying she finished 17th and 23rd in her heats before gaining 10 places in the pre final to finish 15th and then went even better in the final to take 11th
Mini – Albert Friend
Another superb showing balancing speed, patience and killer overtaking . Pole, two top 3 heat finishes and victory in an intense pre final and final topped off by THAT move on Edward Haynes to seal the win
JUNIOR ROTAX – Harrison Whitticombe
After losing his regular mechanic to illness on Friday and qualifying 56th, Harrison gained 33 places in his heats, another 10 in the pre final and then finally scored his first ‘proper’ final win
SENIOR ROTAX- Caden McQueen
Refusing to let the loss of a sponsor dampen his spirits , Caden recovered from 33rd in qualifying to finish 16th and 6th in his heats and then go from 15th to 4th in the pre final. A maiden podium for KR Sport was richly deserved
KZ2 – Ashley Lewis
Showing vast improvement over his last couple of BKC seasons, Lewis finished every race in the top 5 including a second place in heat one and claimed a solid 5th in the final
