2024 Wera Tools Driver Of The Day – Event 6 – Shenington

Cast YOUR vote!

The Wera Tools Driver of the Day Award shortlist for Event 5 at Warden Law is now LIVE.

Now is your chance to vote for the driver who impressed YOU the most during the weekend, with the winner receiving the coveted Wera Tools trophy, a Wera BKC winners hat, a Wera BKC winners visor sticker, and a free practice session at the next BKC event.

The nominations have been made up of drivers that impressed the panel throughout the weekend and now you can play your part in deciding the winner.

Nominations are:

Water Swift Restricted – Chester Forkes
Such a mature weekend from the privateer taking a pair of runner up finishes in the finals and fighting for the lead every step of the way.

Water Swift – Jarlath Sayer
The win eluded him but he finished in the top 3 in every qualifying, heat and final which is remarkable considering the strength of the class

Junior X30 – Jorge Edgar
Everything started to click as he took a pair of top 6 heat finishes on Saturday after qualifying 14th and fell agonisingly short in the final with P2. Confidence boosted, he was fastest in Sunday qualifying, backed that up with another pair of top 5 heat finishes before a cruel carb failure stopped him on the first lap of Sundays final

Senior X30 – Noah Wolfe
A starring weekend culminating in him becoming the youngest winner of a Senior X30 final in the modern era on Sunday aged just 14. Some superb overtaking and plenty of raw speed

KZ2 – Lee Ward
The final results don’t do the privateer driver justice after he led Sundays final, almost won Sundays opening heat and never ran lower than 5th on Saturday
