We are thrilled to announce some significant updates for drivers in the 2025 IAME Waterswift (WSR) Class at the Wera Tools British Kart Championships.
The Championship will introduce a fantastic opportunity specifically for young drivers with an Interclub Licence who are in the year of their 8th birthday* after changing the criteria and minimum eligible age in the category for 2025. This is designed to support young talent transitioning from the Bambino classes into the highly competitive Waterswift (WSR) Class.
In the 2025 season, drivers will compete over nine rounds at the UK’s top karting tracks, with a mix of single and double-header events. The championship winner will earn a coveted ticket to the 2025 IWF. As with all IAME BKC events, the WSR Championship will feature full British Kart Championship infrastructure, including on-track CCTV, controlled fuel, live streaming, dedicated race control, and comprehensive technical checks and supplied parts. Tyre usage limits will also be in place at all rounds.
