The Wera Tools British Kart Championships (BKC) are delighted to announce the addition of a generous support package for the IAME Waterswift Class for the 2025 season, further enhancing opportunities for young drivers looking to make their mark in competitive karting.
The introductory Cadet class, designed for drivers in their 8th year with an Interclub Licence, provides an ideal transition from the Bambino class, offering the ideal environment to hone their skills at National level.
Recognised as one of the most competitive karting series in the world, the British Kart Championships regularly attract over 500 drivers annually, including rising international talent. Many of today’s leading motorsport stars began their careers in the BKC, cementing its status as a premier proving ground for the next generation of racers.
Enhanced Support Package from Argenti for IAME WSR Drivers
Thanks to the generous support of Argenti, The IAME stakeholder in the Championship, WSR drivers will benefit from an extensive support package designed to make competing in the BKC more accessible.
This support extends across both the IAME O Plate meeting at Whilton Mill in March and the full Championship season, including:
✅ Discounted Entry & Free Testing – Special entry pricing of just £195 for all three days of the O Plate meeting, including Friday practice.
✅ Tyre Support – The first 20 drivers to register for the main BKC Championship will receive a set of both slick and wet Vega tyres.
✅ End-of-Season Reward – Drivers who register for the Championship and complete all rounds will receive the last round FOC.
✅ Additional Cost Savings – No new tyres permitted for practice sessions at events.
✅Ability to carry over wet tyres from the O Plate to the British Championships.
