British Kart Drivers Shine in Franciacorta Italy

British talent lit up the Franciacorta Karting Track in Italy during Round 2 of the IAME Euro Series, with British Kart Championship drivers claiming top spot on every podium and showcasing the depth of UK karting.

In the Mini X30 final, Chester Forkes (DK Academy) stormed to victory after gaining two places, edging out fellow Brit Alfie Davidson (Fusion Motorsport) by just 0.014s in a thrilling 13-lap battle, while Mayson Hibbert (Fusion) completed an all-British podium in third. Forkes led the early and final stages, underlining his composure under pressure.

The Junior X30 delivered even more British dominance as Max Endacott (BMR) took the win from 3rd on the grid, holding off George Clarke (BMR) by a scant 0.063s across 14 laps, with Jacob Bachler (BMR) charging from 11 places back to claim third—another all-British podium. Endacott assumed the lead mid-race and defended superbly to the flag.

In the Senior X30, Freddie Lloyd (Premium Karting) clinched victory after a late surge, overtaking to lead the final two laps of the 17-lap finale and finishing ahead of Javier Broasca and Alex Martinez. Lloyd’s precise driving capped a commanding British performance across all categories.

These results highlight a wave of rising karting talents from Great Britain, blending raw speed, smart racecraft, and resilience on the technical 1300m Franciacorta circuit. With multiple BMR and Fusion drivers shining alongside other UK squads, the future of international karting looks decidedly British.
