The Motorsport UK Wera Tools British Kart Championships will head across the border this weekend (17-18 July) as contenders in the IAME, Honda and Bambino classes make the trip Scotland and one of the UK’s newest karting circuits, Larkhall. The newly refurbished venue sits just south of Glasgow and Britain’s premier karting series will see contenders vie for the coveted titles on offer across the impressive 1140 metre circuit. The fast and flowing layout will offer the perfect challenge for all categories as many reach the mid-point of the season. After a busy start to the year, the IAME classes have experienced a month’s break with the Kimbolton encounter in May hosting the latest points scoring opportunity. With Larkhall marking the season mid-point, the pressure will be on for contenders to close in on the series leaders. Wesley Swain (Fusion Motorsport) and Macauley Bishop (PMR Driver Programme) tie for second place in the standings heading into the weekend with Swain taking the initiative at Kimbolton.
