UK SET TO HOST THE ROTAX MAX GRAND FESTIVAL IN 2024

The prestigious Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Festival will be held in the UK for the first time this September as the world-class Warden Law circuit plays host to the unique event, held specifically for the youngest Rotax drivers.

In a collaboration with Motorsport UK, Karting North East and Warden Law Kart Club near Sunderland will lay down the marker as the debut host of the event on 20 – 22 September for the progressive Micro Max and Mini MAX youngsters.

The event will be supported by the UK distributor JAG Rotax, with prizes including RMC Grand Final Tickets for the champions at the famous event which will be held in Sarno, Italy in October, plus new Rotax engines to be won by the top-finishing privateers in the duel for the Micro and Mini MAX titles.

Following the success of the Rotax Grand Festival over the years, the Grand Festival concept offers young drivers the chance to experience competitive racing within an international field. With a truly world-class feel, the entire weekend will be streamed live, bringing the best talent to every corner of the globe.

The RMC Grand Festival will run alongside the Motorsport UK Rotax E Plate, expanding the international field during the weekend with Junior MAX and Senior MAX contenders. An additional RMCGF 2024 ticket will be awarded to the leading UK-licenced driver in the Rotax Senior MAX class to compete in the Rotax DD2 category at the iconic showdown in Italy.

The RMC Global Regulations will apply using the latest Rotax engine specs for the Micro and Mini classes, with control fuel and Parc fermé MOJO Racing Tyres. Participants require a minimum Motorsport UK or ASN National Licence with starting permission from their ASN.

E Plate competitors must have an Interclub Licence and the event will be included on the FIA Karting Ranking System. The three-day meeting kicks off on Friday with official practice, followed by Timed Qualifying, Heats, Super Heat and Final to decide the results throughout the weekend.
